Good
great sounding but there is a little lag by pushing the key and the controls aren't exactly immediate.

Good pedal, if it works
Don't get me wrong, this pedal is actually pretty amazing. It's simple, compact, and relatively cheap. Great for practicing or bedroom jamming, and it'll most likely fit on your pedalboard due to its size. However, TC seems to have a spotty record with its QC. Many users reported that the switch inside broke, the ditto was bricked for no reason or it just simply stopped working, me included. I was very disappointed by the QC of TC as this was a very good pedal, but if you can get a relatively good deal on a ditto I'd say pull the trigger on it.

I would give it 4 stars, but I gave it 5 and here's why:
This pedal it's one of the best purchases I've ever made. It's simple and precise. Tap, rec. Double tap, stop. Tap, play. Tap again, record again. Dub, dub, dub, done. Double tap and hold, erase. You can seriously get that down in one sit with this cat. The only, and I mean ONE AND ONLY, thing I have to say about DITTO is that I'd like for it to have an option of overdubbing right after you finish your first round. For example: I do a base for an intro and I'd like to record the intro solo that enters on the very first beat of the base, that I can't do. There's at least a second of delay after you can press it again to record the first overdub. Then you have to wait for the whole base to finish the loop and start the recording from the first beat again. Outside of that, it's just perfect! Ah, and since it's so small I decided to take off the volume knob, I kept kicking it by mistake on the berserk of a solo and screaming the looped base over my lead or practically muting it outta nowhere, it just solved it right away.

Yes! What a great idea. The volume knob has gotten in my way, as well. I don't know why I never thought to remove it. Thanks :)

A fantastic simple looper
A pedal that really is a TC Electronic masterpiece.
Positives: The simple interface means it is unlikely to be confused and in addition, the addition on a USB allows you to store loops on a computer to play back, a handy tool for live use.
Negatives: There are a few negatives but really it isn't the end of the world especially for a pedal of this size. One would be the way in which you pause the loop. The double press of the footswitch could be a challenge but in a practice context it doesn't matter. The other issue would be a lack of the comforts of other loopers such as fade outs and overdubs beginning at the start of the loop. These again are just wishful thinking for a looper of this size.
Overall, I would recommend this pedal for just doing the simple thing you want, looping. Nothing more, nothing less.

Compact and straightforward looper perfect for practice and live use
SmAllmighty looper ! I owned a Boss RC3 and sold it two days after buying it. Not because it was a bad pedal, but mostly because i needed a straight looper with no other functionalities than looping. And that's the main reason i bought the Ditto looper : easy to use, small enclosure (fits any pedalboard)... I use mine for practice and also in live situations with my band. Great pedal !
Great tool to learn looping techniques. Perfect for the non-gigging guitarist on a budget
This is the first loop pedal I ever purchased. It took maybe 10 minutes tops to get comfortable with it with multiple dubs. I do not gig, or get the chance to play with others very often, so the ditto is the perfect companion when I am not playing with a backing track.

The Looper
This is by far my most Favourite Looper I have ever seen. Nothing but the necessities under the hood and so easy and simple to use after memorising quickly its simple Functions! Absolutely Magical creation! Thank you TC Electronic.

Great intro looper pedal
This covers the basics well enough and the controls are intuitive and easy to get used to. Perfect for bedroom guitarists to start making loops .

Useful and Simple
It's intuitive 1-switch-1-knob interface is the best you'd want in live and rehearsal situations. Couldn't be more simple to use and fits any pedalboard. Perfect tool for power trios, composing and studying. Only downside: Can't store - I mean, you record, it's stored and it has ram to keep it stored for the next time you plug your pedalboard. What you can't do is record more than 1 loop and switch between them - You have to re-loop everytime you go to a different melody/song. Not a problem, just a characteristic: It is a step on, no frills and gadgets looper.

No frills, amazing quality
I bought this to up my bedroom playing game.
Let me tell you, it was the best $99 I've ever spent on equipment! Layering stuff has really really improved my rhythm playing etc. and it's been great for layering synth bits (especially on mono ones!)
The interface is crazy intuitive and didn't take long to get used to. While this thing doesn't have many features, it does everything really well. The true bypass is fantastic, and the output quality is great...it's better than some loopers I've used in the past.
I highly recommend this little dude!
