Small Clone
A key element in the Nevermind tone.
Sounds even better on Fender Rhodes than on guitar.
It would be cool if Electro-Harmonix made some of their best pedals like this and the big muff into a single rack unit with multiple effects.
If you save up your money, a Yamaha SPX90 (about $250 in 2022), has a better sounding chorus IMO and more chorus options, plus reverb, panning and other effects.

great
i dont know why people just use chorus for clean shit, its all about the Lifeson Rush distorted / fuzz'd chorus sound, man, listen to those power chords, or like how David Gilmour used his Mistress on The Wall and etc. you can make it sound like Nirvana too, but you can also make it have a Leslie Beatles Sgt Pepper's era tone thats unreal with arpeggios. the best chorus pedal in the fuckin world. I also can mimic the vibrato on Born to Run beautifully

**EHX - Perfect Clone**
This pedal is a staple part of my musical diet, and I love how simple it is. It has one single turn dial, and a switch to turn the full chorus effect on or off. It has a distinct sound I have not heard anywhere else in other chorus pedals. However, and I am not whether it is just my personal pedal or not yet it does seem to eat up 9v Batteries quite quickly.

Small Clone
Love this pedal! Like most people, I got the Small Clone to get that Cobain chorus tone, and I don't regret it. I also use the Clone for Demarco, and Pumpkins tone. This pedal was smaller than I imagined, but bigger is not better. So yeah, I definitely recommend this to anyone wanting a classic chorus tone.

Classic Sound
Great quality and aesthetics, very simple to use; but not limited when it comes to sound. Only con is the clic when you activate the pedal, but it's only when you have just plugged the pedal to AC; just push it on the soundcheck and you won't have any trouble on the show.
For me, this is the best chorus sound in the world.
This pedal's so great I bought a new one after a stepped on my old one a little too hard. Worth all the praise it gets, but if you're going to get one, either put it further to the top of your board or use some reserve when stomping on it.

the original style EHX boxes are certainly flimsy... it helps to open them up and put a big piece of Styrofoam under the switch so it has some support.

Great pedal for a good price.
For this price I think it is a very good Chorus. I own a Boss CE-1 and CE-2 Waza, and I have to say that the Boss CE-1 is a pedal of its own. But for this price, I think it has a lot of possibilities and it sounds very good with drive pedals. Compared to the CE-2 Waza I think this guy is a winner. It doesn't have a mid-boost (like the CE-2 waza slightly has) and it is half the price. With the knob on 16:00 and the dept switch off you can get some great CE-1 vibrato sound. It isn't exactly the same, but for this price (and that knowledge that the audience won't hear the difference in a live setup, I think this pedal beats a lot pedals. I really dig it. Aren't there any cons? Well, I think the pedal is unusable with the depth switch ON and the Knob past 12:00. There is to much depth than and it will make the sound too warbly (for me).

Either you have this pedal, or you don't know yet you need it.
Esthetically pleasing, built like a tank, one big knob and one switch, not a bad sound in it, no way. Buy a 2$ adapter for the crappy mini-jack power connector and you're set. The switch is hard and loud, so everyone will know the exact moment you activate or deactivate the pedal. It's almost a sound on its own.

Perfect
Can’t fault this incredible pedal. Looks cool, sounds cool and is overall very cool. Nice warm tone that is perfect with all the pickups and pedals I’ve used

Kurt used them on Smells Like Teen Spirit. Enough said.
Very rich sounding Chorus pedal. With a good amount of diversity in sound. I tend to use lower settings just to thicken my sound a little and really punch the effect up for creepy, stark sounding Cramps and Dead Kennedy's style riffing. One knob, one toggle, super easy. Oh and I love how EHX pedals look.

He also used it in come as you are and at the start of some of his songs he turns it on with another pedal to give it kind of that wake up call if ya know what I mean.
