Description
The Boss DM-2W Delay Waza Craft is a remarkable reincarnation of the legendary analog delay pedal, originally discontinued in 1984. Now, this long-coveted classic is back, offering a versatile blend of vintage and modern tones suitable for any music style.
The DM-2W is a masterpiece from the Waza Craft series, BOSS's premium line of redesigned guitar effects pedals, known for their commitment to exceptional tone and touch response. The 100 percent analog circuitry ensures a warm and organic sound that made the original DM-2 iconic.
In Standard mode, the DM-2W faithfully recreates the lush, 20-300 millisecond delay range of the original. Flip to Custom mode for a cleaner analog sound with over double the delay time. This pedal's versatility doesn't stop there. It also features an expression pedal input for on-the-fly delay time control and split outputs for running your direct and delay sounds separately.
Constructed for life on the road, this pedal has a durable metal chassis offering lasting protection and easy battery access. Whether you're dialing in a short slapback echo for a rockabilly vibe, a medium delay for a classic rock lead or long repeats for ambient soundscapes, the Boss DM-2W Delay Waza Craft is a musical Swiss Army knife ready to deliver the perfect delay tone.

Very beatiful analog delay
Amazing quality build usual in boss pedal, amazing analog textures without losing your volume, it have stereo output and a rate to configure manual with a exp pedal, love the two modes very different so the possibilities are high to experiment, i lke to use in mono mode and you can make a subtle reverb mode, i love it.

Great, classic sound at a fairly reasonable price
If this is the sound you're after in your analog delays, you'd do very well to stop your search here. More delay time than the classic models, much easier to find, and incredibly easy to set up. The way the repeats get crunchier as they fade out is the stuff of legend, and you get a texture off of this pedal that you just don't get from anything else. The addition of expression pedal control is also a brilliant move by Boss, and lends the pedal even better to the noisey shoegaze stuff it's so beloved for.
Shouldn't have sold mine. You really can't find anything like it. I'm selling my DD-500 and going back to 3 or 4 delay units dedicated to specific sounds, and this one's on the list.

Great pedal
It works. Sounds good. Delay range ("Repeat rate") is superb. Level range of wet sound ("Echo") is excellent. Has good buffer
Preferred Settings + Usage:
Pseudo-reverb: Custom mode, repeat rate 2.5, intensity 10, echo 8.5-9

Delicate and calm, powerful delay
A beautiful atmospheric sound that traps you every note you play with it. Totally in love with my waza combo (DM-2W & CE-2W) and this delay makes every riff/solo feel more powerful
Delayed, but back with a vengence
The whizzes at WAZA Craft did right by the world bring this beauty back into production. Pricey, but worth it. Best analog on the market if you ask me.
