excellent noise suppressor

this does the job if noise is getting out of hand and you can't trace it. In many cases the solution is better supply management and I have taken this off my board recently but always on hand if I need it again

Great! Surpresses noise, not just gate.

I used noise gates before, the TC Electronic Sentry being the best. But this thing actually filters out noise without loss of tone, instead of just gating.

Basic Noise suppressor

Does what it does, but there are more accurate, better ones out there. The price and the effects loop, along with the DC out ability are the main advantages of this pedal.

My Mate the Noise Gate

The NS2 is obviously the industry standard in noise gates. it has a very high threshold for high gain amps and the convenience of an FX loop for troublesome pedals. The only problem I have with the NS2 is that when the threshold is up extremely high on blistering high gain amps it has a tendency to ever so gently soften the tone and fade back in too slowly to pull off an insanely tight sound. Brilliant device to stop your amp from screaming all the time, however.

Cuts the fat off

If you want to really crank up the gain on a lead line but don't want to split every listeners brains out with your dang screechy feedback this pedal will definitely cut out the fat and leave you with delicious meaty tone

Decent noise suppressor.

Does the job well, but does suck tone a bit. It also cuts off some sustain, yet it's manageable. The trade-off of having no noise when not playing is worth it to me.

Does the job

I still have this pedal but don't use it currently as I don't play hot/heavy enough to need it in the chain, when I have tried it, it works very well though/
